La Casa Mexican Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
Went for the musical entertainment & absolutely loved the food, drinks & service also! We ate in the bar while sipping margaritas & listening to awesome live music! Has a great outdoor patio with accompanying restroom. So nice! We had a great Saturday evening! Thank you to the Hookahs & to Lacasa for a great night!
I must say after dinner tonight,I don't understand all the recent bad reviews. The food was amazing and the service even better. The seafood chimichanga was delicious. Our server Aiden was very attentive and provided top notch service. My only real complaint is how cd they keep the place but that's just personal preference.
Best place on the bayou for Mexico food. A little pricey but my kids love the steaks and non alcoholic daquiris. They also extended the place a couple of years ago. They have a great room off to the side which can accomodate large groups. On the other side of the restaurant they have a bar if you're in the mood for a drink but not food.
In a world full of Covid, it's awesome to see a restaurant doing it right! The staff was wearing masks, the dining room was arranged for proper distance, and as we were leaving I saw an employee cleaning the menus and bill wallets. The food was pretty good. My chimichanga wasnt fried so it was basically a wet burrito. They have catchy menu names like lazy burrito or sad burrito. Our server, Joanne I think, was so sweet and very helpful!
Always a great place for lunch, my husband loves the buffet. We had dinner here last night and it was great. I had the chicken enchiladas, and I love their enchilada sauce. Chips and salsa are always the best and the queso is our favorite!
We stopped here on the way back to New Orleans from Grand Isle. We were really hungry after a day at the beach, but had to pass some other restaurants on the way because of staff not wearing masks. This place was perfect, though - the tables were far apart from each other and every single staff member was wearing a mask. We could eat here, confident that our food wouldn't come with a side of covid. There were 4 people at our table and everyone's food was delicious. Our server, Joanne, was very attentive, professional and sweet. The 10-year-old at our table commented "10 out of 10 for service". As we were leaving, the retardant was closing and we saw the staff disinfecting the credit card books.
The food is pleasing to the palate. It's nothing fancy, but everything I've tried has tasted delicious and I keep going back for more. The service is friendly, usually a tad slow, but nice all the same. We always enjoy eating here!
Enjoy coming here every time. Endless choices on the buffet and very tasty. Gets refilled rapidly even during their busy hours. Plenty of places to sit and generally a great atmosphere to be in. Waitresses and staff are very friendly. Feel very welcome on each visit. Look forward to coming back as we speak.
